Delete your account

You can permanently delete your SYB account from inside the app, or from Settings on the website. You do not need a subscription or an email address to do this.
These steps are for SYB. If your installed app still shows LoveLogic, or you cannot access your account, use the contact option below.
Delete from the app
- Open SYB and go to Home.
- Tap the profile button to open Profile.
- Choose Delete account.
- Read what will be removed and select “I understand this is permanent”.
- Tap Delete my account and wait for the app to confirm by returning to the start.
If deletion fails, keep the app installed and try again with a working internet connection, or contact us. Removing the app from your device does not by itself delete your account on our servers.
Delete from the website
Open Settings and my data, choose Delete my data and confirm. It runs the same deletion as the app and clears the website's storage on that device.
What deletion does
- Removes your profile, handle and founding fam number.
- Deletes your chat history with SYB, likes, playlists, blocked list and device notification tokens.
- Removes your sign-in, including an Apple-linked SYB account.
- Removes the text and identifying profile details from your fam messages. A “[deleted]” placeholder can remain so conversations still make sense.
- Removes your reactions and reports you submitted. Reports about your account can remain for safety, with message text redacted.
- Removes legacy LoveLogic profile and conversation data associated with the same sign-in.
Deletion cannot be undone. The app can start again with a new anonymous identity; that does not restore the old account. Technical logs and analytics follow the retention described in our Privacy policy.
Cannot open the app or access the account?
Email savageyungblanc@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my SYB account” or “Delete my LoveLogic account”. Include your handle if you have one and explain that you cannot use the in-app deletion control. We will help locate the account and verify ownership before deleting it. Because SYB does not require an email address, emailing us alone may not identify an anonymous account.
Do not send a password, verification code or private chat history. We will explain the next step and aim to answer within 30 days.
